To ensure automated accounting of equipment, its repair and maintenance at the enterprise, employees need at the same time remote access to data with the possibility of their constant updating – the task that the Customer set for us.
To implement this task of automating the life cycle management of the Customer’s tool, INFOCOM LTD has developed an automated system TOOLS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (“TMS”). The system is a web application and a database and allows a large number of geographically distributed users to work simultaneously.
At the first stage of the system implementation, the following functions were implemented:
- accounting of the tool at the customer’s site by storage location
- accounting of the instrument put into operation
- change and control of equipment status accounting of equipment
- repair and service accounting of tool operating time in the process of operation
- signaling of the approaching end of the equipment service life by the Customer
- formation of reporting documents
Technologies used in the development of web applications: .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQl
The application is currently being tested at the Customer’s site.
At the next stage of the project, this software “TMS” will be integrated with the accounting system of the Customer’s enterprise (1C).
