Hydrogen energy has great potential among all modern forms of clean energy, and the key of its development is the production of hydrogen.

INFOCOM LTD has the technology for the production of “green” hydrogen by the electrolysis of water. The hydrogen production process consists of several process streams.

The production method is constant and cyclical.

Applications of hydrogen:

wear-tear-parts-optimization

Chemical industry

Oil refining industry

Metallurgy

remote-control

Energy

constant-efficiency

Food industry

Medicine

The production of electrolytic hydrogen is based on the process of decomposition of water by a constant electric current into its constituent parts – hydrogen and oxygen. Electric current through the cell of the electrolyzer is carried by charged particles – ions.

From the electrolyzers, hydrogen and oxygen are fed through two-way valves to the droplet eliminators and pressure regulators. The electrolyte is cooled and returned to the electrolytic cells.
The electrolyte is prepared in a tank and pumped into the electrolyzer by a pump.
After the electrolysis plant, hydrogen and oxygen are supplied, respectively, through pipelines to the gas holders and to the suction of the compressors, and after compression to the gas purification and drying units, from where the gases are supplied to the consumer through pipelines in cylinders and oxygen recipients for emergency supplies.
In order to ensure the safety of production, protect the life or health of workers, protect the property and equipment, the process of producing “green” hydrogen is regulated by technological regulations

The process of obtaining hydrogen and oxygen by the electrolysis of water is explosive and fire hazardous and is carried out in accordance with the safety rules for the production of hydrogen by the electrolysis of water, with the requirements of safety rules in explosive and explosion-hazardous chemical and petrochemical industries.

In 2009-2010, the company INFOCOM LTD automated the production of hydrogen at Semiconductor Plant in Zaporozhye city.

Description of the work of the ACS TP "Hydrogen production" at the Semiconductor Plant:

  • Safe production is ensured through the use of a control system in accordance with SIL 2 (Safety Integrated Level) from Siemens.
  • A smart substation was made to power the workshop.
  • The technological regulations for the production of hydrogen have been developed

The advantage of the electrochemical method for producing hydrogen:

wear-tear-parts-optimization

simplicity and continuity of the technological process

environmental Safety

no need for raw materials

obtaining hydrogen of high purity (purification only from oxygen)

INFOCOM LTD plans to use hydrogen for energy storage systems and as an alternative fuel for vehicles.
