Automation of elevators, grain storage facilities, terminals, and oil extraction plants is what INFOCOM LTD has been doing for the past 10 years and has experience in implemented projects.
One of such projects is the project to automate the second and third stages of construction at a grain terminal with a simultaneous storage capacity of 300,000 tons per day (annual turnover of up to 5 million tons of grain!) and shipment of the product by ship.
The important detail of the project was that the customer had strict deadlines for the readiness of the list of equipment (launch of conveyors) for the timely shipment of the first batches of grain, so the work plan was structured in such a way as to meet the customer’s priority requests, install cable routes, control equipment, assemble control cabinets, develop software for shipment routes by a deadline and launch it. The priority work was carried out in an extremely tight schedule and required coordinated parallel work of both INFOCOM LTD and the customer’s team.
The project included work on the automation of electrical power equipment and remote control, exterior and interior lighting systems for the following zones:
- Receiving,
- Storage,
- Drying,
- Shipment.
As part of the project, the following was carried out:
- Manufacturing of control cabinets, distributed peripheral cabinets, local control panels, lighting control cabinets.
- Supply of electrical equipment, cable and wire products.
- Software development based on Siemens TIA Portal Professional.
- Installation and commissioning works.
