The engineers of INFOCOM LTD are at the final stage of a large-scale project for the automation and power supply of the transshipment complex for the reception, storage and shipment of grain cargoes with a one-time storage of 300 thousand tons and an annual turnover of up to 5 million tons.

The tasks of our specialists include the implementation of a complex of works on equipment automation:

  • development of software for automatic equipment control;
  • manufacture and supply of control system cabinets (motor control cabinets, remote peripheral cabinets, controller cabinet);
  • installation and commissioning of control system equipment.

The control system controls the routes for grain products via conveyors to 24 silos of the terminal, providing operations of receiving, unloading, storage of grain cargos. The project uses a routing technology improved by our engineers, which ensures the creation of routes for transporting goods from point A to point B along conveyor lines, synchronizing the on / off of equipment for each part of the route.

Actual data of equipment state, transportation of goods along the routes is transmitted to the central dispetcher point, allowing the operator to monitor / dispatch and control technological processes. Information on the dispatcher’s screen is displayed in 3D, so the arrangement of equipment on the screens became realistic and understandable. For the convenience of operators large screens are used – 55 inches. The experience of our specialists in the field of 3D design was used to create 3D visualization on screens in the control room.

The facility is subject to strict requirements for the system’s fault tolerance; to fulfill these requirements Siemens controller and Simocode PROV modules are used. The environment TIA Portal, WinCC Professional was used for software development. The number of tags in the project is over 6,000.
