The main problems of the civilian population regarding the handling of explosive objects that lead to deaths and injuries are the low level of knowledge about the rules of safe behavior in situations involving mines and ERW and underestimation of the danger of explosive objects, their impact and consequences.
In order to save lives and respond properly to unknown objects, a course was created and conducted to address the following issues:
- Where explosive objects may be located
- What explosive objects look like
- Types of grenades and their radius of destruction
- Types of mines, their radius of destruction and a list of factors that trigger them
- Types of detonators
- Consequences of explosive devices
- Improvised explosive devices and possible places of their installation
- Signs indicating dangerous areas
- Rules of safe behavior
- How to act when detecting explosive devices
In today’s realities, we must be cautious and aware of the unexpected from our neighbors.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
