Modernization of the automated control system (ACS) of ship-loading machines

At the end of 2021, INFOCOM LTD implemented the modernization of the automated control system (ACS) of the SPM700 and SPM900 ship-loading machines in Mykolayiv.
The company’s specialists developed design documentation and software (PLC, HMI), performed electrical installation and commissioning work.

For the existing S7-1200 controllers and SPM700 and SPM900 ship loader operator panels, INFOCOM LTD specialists have added functionality for controlling the new weighing trunk of the machine, the new oil station, trunk tilt, trunk telescope winch, trunk loading systems, boom and trunk tilt indication systems, rear and arrow conveyor protection systems against belt rise, belt slippage and transport product congestion.

Equipment for ACS on ship loading machines SPM700 and SPM900 was adjusted and installed at the facility, new starting assemblies of the telescope mechanism and loading device were installed. Installation of the following sensors of control and measuring devices and automation is executed:

1. The sensor of the top level of raw materials in the telescoping mechanism
2. Inclinometer of the telescoping mechanism
3. Inclinometer of the conveyor belt
4. Collision system sensors
