The main components of the automated warehouse of cellular storage

  • Incoming control area – here the products are removed from the packing, identified and placed in the “SmartBall”, assigning this product to an RFID tag. After that, the product is placed on a gravity conveyor.
  • Distribution area – on this area the RFID tag, built in SmartBall, is read, after that the product, depending on the daily order, is sent either to the warehouse or sorted to recipients
  • Storage area – the product in the transport unit “SmartBall” is placed into cells according to the principle of FIFO (First In, First Out – “first came, first left”) and removed from them using high-speed manipulators.
  • Sorting area – on this area the product, according to the read RFID tag, is removed from the “SmartBall” on the corresponding distributor and placed in the box with the order. An empty “SmartBall” reverts to the incoming control area by the gravity conveyor.
  • Transportation and packaging section – using the carton box preparation machine, automated packaging is prepared (carton boxes) to form orders for consignees. Weighing, packing and application of the label on a carton box with the formed order also is taken place.
  • Outcoming inspection area – formed orders can be checked periodically or upon request. In addition, it is possible to complete the order with large-sized products.
  • Storage and shipment of orders – formed orders are placed in the buffer warehouse and shipped once in a shift.
