UGV control system description

Dispatching system, Network connection, Networks applied.
The unmanned vehicle can carry out patrolling along a predetermined path in the «autopilot» mode or move with the infantry. In the latter case the vehicle is driven remotely via special portable terminal.  Connection to the vehicle is carried out through a digital radio channel WiFi/Wimax, with a communication radius up to 10 km.

Special SMART-functions

Дополнительно беспилотный автомобиль оснащается программно-аппаратным комплексом

The unmanned vehicle is additionally equipped with a hardware and software complex «SmartDrive» and teaching in a real time «Teach-inDrive» mode. A predetermined path is passed by an operator both in a pilot and/or in unmanned mode. In the «Teach-inDrive» mode the system keeps in memory the assigned route. Path coordinates received through the GPS signal via satellite are put into a database; with change in the speed for more than 5% and change in position of steering-wheel for more than 3 degrees special signals are kept in memory (e.g. signalling etc.).

Each route is kept in memory individually. An operator chooses the assigned route by himself. In order to follow the assigned route an operator chooses the «SmartDrive» mode.

Due to the «Teach-inDrive» mode and “return Home” mode the unmanned vehicle after turning returns home along a predetermined path in the «SmartDrive» mode.

In case of loss of communication with the unmanned vehicle an operator sets the necessary mode using menu of preliminary configurations:

  • Stop
  •  Autopilot
  •  Return Home
