Scorpio AGRO is a new unmanned platform for the agro-industrial complex, which was developed by the engineers of INFOCOM LTD company to solve agricultural problems.
INFOCOM LTD develops and manufactures unmanned robotic platforms with dual purposes, the first –for military purposes and the second – for agricultural purposes. Unmanned ground vehicle that is created for military purposes is idle for a long time, and unmanned platforms for the agriculture can be constantly used in agricultural work, in spring, autumn and summer.
The unmanned robotic platform Scorpio AGRO is almost identical to the platform that is used for military purposes. Instead of a turret, a plow or other agricultural equipment is connected to the robotic platform. The Scorpio AGRO platform perfectly copes with the task of digging up the field and can work autonomously, moving on the given route.
The main application of Scorpion AGRO platform:
- Plowing the land
- Monitoring of cultivated land – paired with a drone
- Weed control (optional)
By combining the work of a robotic platform with a flying drone, it is possible to monitor the cultivated land, thereby adjusting the actions of the Scorpio AGRO platform.

Autonomous movement along a given route

Remote control by the operator using a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Equipping with an intelligent system that makes the necessary maneuvers, performing tasks with minimal errors, determines the boundaries of the field

Recognition of stationary and moving obstacles, bypassing them and alerting the operator due to lidar, cameras and sensors
Advantages of using unmanned robotic platforms in agriculture:
The movement of robotic platforms is carried out on electric traction. Near the field can be placed solar panels with chargers, and the platform battery can be charged. The company plans to create such a robotic platform that can be autonomously charged. The unmanned platform Scorpion AGRO does not use gasoline and does not pollute the environment, charging from electricity or solar energy.
Anyone can operate the platform, even a person with disabilities. The use of robotic platforms in agriculture makes it possible to create jobs for people with disabilities.
The unmanned robotic platform Scorpion AGRO can move autonomously along a given route, performing assigned tasks, and the operator can remotely monitor the process.
In case of war, the unmanned platform Scorpion AGRO can be converted into a military robotic complex, equipping it with armor, a turret, a small anti-aircraft system or other weapons.
The operator that control the robotic platforms can work in a comfortable environment and remotely control the entire process.
In addition to the ready-made solution for the agriculture – the robotic platform “Scorpion AGRO”, INFOCOM LTD company can equip a harvester, seeder and other agricultural machinery with an unmanned control device, ensuring their autonomous operation.
In the future, INFOCOM LTD company plans to create a robotic platform, which, in addition to performing functions related to land cultivation, will destroy weeds using a laser and using neural networks and machine vision.
An unmanned platform, recognizing one or another weed around a useful plant, will be able to remove them using a laser. This reduces the using of herbicides by farmers and improves the quality of soil that is not cultivated with anything.
